JAYAPURA-NUSANTARAPOST.ID-Aparat gabungan Polri dan TNI berhasil melakukan penindakan tegas dan terukur kepada sejumlah anggota Kelompok Kriminal Bersenjata (KKB) yang melakukan penyerangan di Kuala Kencana Kabupaten Mimika pada tanggal 30 Maret lalu yang menewaskan seorang warga sipil asal Selandia Baru, Kamis 9 April 2020.
Kapolres Mimika, AKBP I Gusti Gde Era Adhinata saat dikonfirmasi mengatakan, bertempat di jalan Trans Nabire, Kampung Jayanti, Distrik Iwaka, Kabupaten Mimika, telah dilakukan Penangkapan atas hasil rangkaian penyelidikan yang sudah lama dilakukan oleh tim gabungan TNI-POLRI.
Atas informasi yang diperoleh dari penyelidikan tersebut, tim gabungan langsung bertindak cepat, dengan berupaya melakukan penangkapan. Meskipun sempat mendapatkan perlawanan, akhirnya aparat gabungan berhasil melumpuhkan 2 anggota KKB dan 1 orang berinisial IS yang berhasil di tangkap dalam keadaan hidup yang saat ini sudah diamankan di Mapolres Mimika untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut.
“Sempat terjadi kontak tembak di lokasi penangkapan sehingga tim gabungan TNI POLRI melakukan tindakan tegas dan terukur dengan melumpuhkan 2 orang anggota KKB karena melakukan perlawanan yang akhirnya meninggal ditempat. Tim gabungan TNI POLRI juga berhasil mengamankan 1 orang dalam keadaan hidup yang saat ini sudah diamankan di Mapolres Mimika,” Ujar AKBP I Gusti Gde Era Adhinata.
Ditambahkan, aparat gabungan Polri dan TNI berhasil mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti, diantaranya 1 buah Air Soft Gun, 1 buah senjata api rakitan, 1 buah senapan angin, 162 butir peluru, 10 unit telepon seluler, 1 buah HT, 3 bendera bintang kejora, puluhan anak panah, serta sejumlah senjata tajam lainnya.
“Saat ini situasi di Timika pasca penindakan tegas dan terukur terhadap KKB cukup aman dan kondusif dan Aparat gabungan Polri-TNI akan terus melakukan penegakan hukum terhadap KKB dengan menugaskan pasukan terbaiknya,’’tutup Kapolres Mimika. (redaksi)
